Mixed Feelings

Alright so I've been really bored lately. Which means... I've been thinking. Which means, nothing good will come of that. K so, long hair... I love it. I miss it. I'm in the process of growing my hair out until it is about half way down my back. With lots of layers. I just love it. You can do so much with long hair, and I can't wait till it's super long again. =)

So what's the point of this whole post you ask? Well, this is where I go back to the part where I said "I've been thinking." I started looking at old pictures the other day. Not super old pics, but they are at least a year old.... back when I got "bored" (getting bored is dangerous) last year and chopped my hair above my shoulders a couple months before I got married. What was I thinking?! ANYWAYS... I hated it. I liked it for the first day, but then I hated it. Seriously. I prayed every day and night that my hair would magically grow back while I slept.

BUT when I look back at these pictures, I kind of miss it? Is that crazy? When I look at these I think, "Aw... that's kind of cute! Why didn't I like my short hair? I wanna cut it!" I love my long hair but it's just so THICK!! And I'm BORED. THICK hair + me BORED= Hair cut?

Anyways.... I guess my hair wasn't SUPER short, but it was just a huge difference for me. Knowing me, I won't be cutting it anytime soon cuz I'm a chicken (and Alex won't let me due to the fact that I cried to him almost everyday cuz I hated it so much). I just need to do find something to fill my "bored thinking time" so I won't be tempted to cut it again.

So basically the moral of this post was: I'm bored and I want to cut my thick hair, even though I hated my short hair before, because I have to much thinking time on my hands which is basically why I decided to write this lame pointless post in the first place. Holy crap, I'm done!

Peace!

So Excited!!

So EXCITED for next weekend!!! This girl is flying up to visit me!!!

Besides my parents, she is the only one who has come to see me in wonderful Utahland!! Her boyfriend bought her the tickets as a surprise. Isn't he awesome?! She'll be here on Saturday, just in time to go trick or treating!!! She won't be here for a super long time, but I'm just grateful that she's coming!!! Have I mentioned that I'm excited?! YAY!!! We've been bff's since we first laid eyes on each other at good ole Taylor Jr High where we discovered our "under butt pain". Yes yes. Good good times. I love her a super lot, she's the best!! I'll be sure to take pics and share them next week!

I haven't seen her since March when I went down for Stacey's wedding, and I'm waaay past due for Michelle time! Enjoy the silly pics of our coolness through the years!!

Oh, before I forget to say this, I'M SUPER EXCITED!!!! =)

Halloween Time

Is it just me, or is the month of October just not complete without watching this movie AT LEAST once?

ESPECIALLY on Halloween night. After trick or treating (yes I still trick or treat, so sue me) relaxing on your family room floor sorting out your awesome candy with Hocus Pocus playing in front of you. It's just awesome, I can't even describe it. In case you couldn't tell, Halloween is my 2nd favorite holiday (Christmas is first of course). But seriously, how SWEET is Halloween?! You get to dress up in ANYTHING you want. Be ANYTHING for a night, and knock on people's doors and ask for candy!! And nobody thinks you're a freak and they indeed, GIVE YOU FREE CANDY!! Seriously, the best! Now that I'm older though, I usually don't dress up in anything without a full face mask. Then they don't know how old I am! Brilliant, right?! They just think I'm a really tall 10 year old. Yes yes, Halloween is awesome for all ages. Ü

And PS, for those of you poor unfortunate souls who haven't seen Hocus Pocus, my deepest sympathy goes out to you. I'll keep you in my prayers. =)

Life I guess

Oh... where to start. First off, sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Alex and I don't have internet in our apartment anymore so the only time I can get online is at his parents house. Yep yep.

I guess I should do a little Nishijima update. I don't work at the family fun center anymore. It's somewhat of a long story, but lets just say it's a blessing. So I'm back on a part time job search. On Mondays and Tuesdays I still watch my little baby cousin and I'm loving it. She is such a little angel and watching her is the highlight of my week. Also, I just had my heart monitor on for 2 weeks. Last night was the last night of wearing it, and I'm soooo excited to have it off. Dearly beloved, it was just annoying. ESPECIALLY while sleeping. Try sleeping with a fanny pack of a heart monitor around your waist with wires hanging out everywhere and 3 sticky prongs glued to your chest. Fun eh? So now that that's done with, we'll see what the doctor has to say. Possibly surgery again, which as bad as it sounds, I'm kinda hoping for. Just because once I do have it again, hopefully all this heart stuff will be fixed and I can be off my heart medication and life will be somewhat better! Lol.

Alex is still working at the rehabilitation center in Salt Lake as a CNA. We were in the process of looking for a new job for him, just so that it would be less travel. (He has to travel about 35 minutes one way). He had a job interview at a hospital in Bountiful, but that didn't work out. To make it all better, we just found out today that his work claimed to be "overstaffed" and cut everyone's work hours. Fan-stinkin-tastic! So now we're REALLY looking for a new job for him. So basically, we're young and just living on love and finding out how flaming hard life is. Money is tight and a baby for us is looking more and more distant everyday. And our trip to AZ for Christmas is looking just as grim as having a baby is. There's is no flaming jackson way we'll be able to afford it unless we pay for it all with our credit card, which isn't sounding like a good idea right now. More debt for us just doesn't seem too smart. We're still paying off our last 3 trips to AZ. Lol.... oh life.

Ok, since that was all depressing, I have a funny story. Well it was to me anyways. You know how banks usually give you suckers or stickers for your kids when you go through the drive thru? Well... no kids yet, but I had Pebbles with me. I had the car in park waiting for my receipt with Pebbles playing in my lap. The teller must have saw her in the car, cuz when I reached for my receipt when the little tube came, I looked down and saw one of these:

I seriously LAUGHED OUT LOUD. It was so cute and thoughtful and it made my day. I gave it to Pebbles in the passenger seat and she gobbled it down before we even got home. It was great. =) I love my doggy to bits in case you couldn't tell.

So yeah... that's our life for now!

Oh Yes!

So basically, Alex and I have been waiting for today to come for months now. Our Monday nights have been lonely and boring and unentertaining (I'm pretty sure I just made that word up.).

Tonight is the season premiere of this awesome show:

CHUCK!! I'd never even heard of this show until I met Alex and I thank him everyday for it. One of the many reasons why Alex is my hero.

Anyways... gotta go get ready to be Chuck-uplifted. Oh yes, I went there. Ü

Peace!

Montanaaaaa!

I just wanna warn you right off that this is kinda long. There was a ton of pictures that I had to chose from so... yeah.

Well Friday the 3rd we took off to BOZEMAN, MONTANA! I've never been to Montana so it was a new experience for me. And cooold! But still lots of fun. Ü

When we first got there, Alex and I went on a little nature walk. And I found the largest dandelion ever! As you can tell from the picture, I was quite excited.

Blooooowin'! That was lots of work.

Alex being super cool....

Alex also forced me to be super cool too....

Awwwww.... Ü
On Saturday we woke up and went floating down the Madison. It was fun fun! The water was a little on the freaken cold side, but once you got numb to it, it was great! It started getting cloudy and windy towards the end but we made it out before the rain came. We didn't get any pictures from that experience cuz an expensive camera+water=not so smart. So yeah.... =).

So I'm not sure how well these next pictures are in order, but I believe this was Sunday. We went for a little drive up in the mountains. It was pretty!

When we got to where we wanted to be, the low clouds and rain covered all the mountains so we didn't have as great of a view as we wanted, but it was still pretty. It started snowing on us too. It was crazy to think that the day before we were floating down the river. lol.

Ok, I'm thinking these next pictures were taken Sunday night. Here's me and my Alex.

Alex being cute. =)

Thumbs up!! Ü

The couple on the left is Chad and Lucy. They are the ones we stayed with. They are friends of Alex's parents. They are lots of fun and super duper nice. =)

Alex playing with our baby Pebbles.

Me, Jenn, and Pebbles.

This picture made me GOL cuz I'm holding Pebbles like a baby and Jenn and I are talking to her like she really is one. lol

I think Jenn was trying to be Elvis and I was just trying to be angry. Yeah....

My attempt at a headstand...

Failed....

Alex's turn....

Success!!

All of us playing Band Hero.

After these pictures were taken I was rocking Taylor Swift. Yeah baby!

My BIG baby sitting in my lap. We're special?

Then we left at 9am on Monday morning. I was sad to leave and come back to "life". Vacations are the best, and it was welllll needed! Wellllllll needed!!! I want to go on one more vacation before Alex and I start having kids baby, but money wise... idk if that's gonna be possible. HOPEFULLY we'll be able to make it to Mesa for Christmas though. We'll see!!

Kind of an update?

So, I've realized that either I suck at blogging or I just have a boring life. I feel like I haven't updated in FOREVER!

Anyways last week we drove up to Bozeman, Montana with Alex's dad and step mom and little brother. Oh, and Pebbles of course. His dad took lots of pics of that adventure so when I get those, I will give the full update on that. It was a lot of fun! Ü

Another FYI, is that I got a job in late August. It's called Sparetime family fun center. I'm a snack bar attendant and I pretty much do it all. Cook, serve, clean, cashier, the whole shabang! It's a job for now... just making minimum wage so still looking for a more better job. More better? Haha.. that sounds funny. Oh, PLUS, I can't have my nails painted while I work here, so I am now even MORE obsessed with painting my toenails instead. Yes yes. Ü

Also, on Mondays and Tuesdays I'm watching my little baby cousin. She is the cutest 6 1/2 month old ever! I love every minute of it! Monday and Tuesdays are officially my favorite days of the week.

Alex had a job interview last week at a hospital in Bountiful as a CNA. It's the same thing he's doing now, but a LOT closer and MORE pay. I'm totally ok with that. Yesterday, he called the guy he interviewed with to see how things were coming along and the guy told him that he's still calling references and stuff. So, we're still waiting to hear. PRAY he gets it!! It would be AWESOME!

I guess thats it for now. I love my Alex more and MORE and MORE everyday. We are happy and somewhat healthy (lol that would be my fault), and poor, so we're pretty much just livin' on love! =) haha... that was cheesy. Anyways....

PEACE!
