Thanksgiving and Stuff

I'm not gonna get too much in detail about Thanksgiving. Not because I don't like it but because everyone and their mom is blogging about their Thanksgiving, which is fine, but mine's exactly the same. Basically. Lots of family and food...

Thanksgiving Day I went with my mother in law to her parents to hang out and eat with her family, while Alex and his dad stayed home with his cousin to visit his Grandma and Grandpa. Friday, we had a 2nd Thanksgiving feast with Alex's dad's side of the family. After we ate, we watched home videos ranging from when Alex was age 3ish to 7ish. It was the first time I'd ever seen home videos from his childhood. And Oh. My. Goodness. I actually looked at Alex's dad and said, "You make some dang cute babies!" Somewhat awkward for someone to say to their father in law, but I couldn't help it. In the car when we were driving home I told Alex, "I don't even want a baby from me and you (no, we're not trying)... I just want another Alex!" I was only a little kidding. That boosted his self esteem (ego) like 38x more than it already was. Imagine that! =) Love that husband of mine. Probably (most definitely) too much.

O' Christmas Tree?
Yes, While Alex was at work on Saturday I put up our Christmas tree and our 1 stocking and wrapped the present I already have for him. And yes, Alex and I share a stocking. Sad part is, that's actually the one I had before I was married. My dad just got a sharpie and added, "& Alex" after my name and gave it to me when I moved out. Lol. Cuz that's how we roll.

Ps, The playlist I made that you should hear playing is a compilation of my most favoritest Christmas songs ever. My #1 fav is The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth by Bing Crosby and David Bowie. I love Christmas. Like, LOVE Christmas. BEST time of the year. Whooohoo!

Ps again, Pebbles waits for me to get out of the shower. That's love and commitment right there.

Currently Obsessing Over...

Green olives. Ok, I'll admit I've loved green olives since the day I was born. I even drink the juice when I'm done eating the olives out of the jar. Don't judge me. So yeah, but lately I've been on this kick. I eat them all the time. While Alex makes himself an ice cream cone before our movie starts, I grab my jar of green olives and a fork.

Following me eating a couple olives we have conversation like this:

Alex-"Baby, your breath smells like green olives. Gross."
Me- "Rude! Can I kiss you?"
Alex- "NO!"
Me- "Can we make out?"
Alex- "NO!!"
Me- "Well, can I at least lick you?!"
Alex- "NO!!!
Me- "Fine!"

I love him. And my life. Ps, I don't own a jar this big. That would just be CRAZY!

This girl. Yes, my dog, Pebbles. Alex and I bought her this little pink half sweater (this is the best picture I have of her in it). I thought it was a size too small, but Alex says it's suppose to fit like that. I let him win that conversation. Whatev. Anyways, she's adorable and could do no wrong. Just sayin'.

Glasses? Sometimes I just wanna buy them to wear for fun. Ps, As you know I am soooo self conscious about pictures of myself so I'm freaking out a little bit right now. I usually only take pictures of myself for Alex ;).

Fuze. They are yummy. Right now, my favorite flavor is this one. Pomegranate Acai Berry. It's yummy. Fun fact: I actually call these 'Fuzz' cuz once we were at the movies with Alex's dad and step mom buying one of these and she accidentally called it Fuzz. But I'm pretty sure she really thought that's what it was called. So it stuck.

Kelly Clarkson's new album. It's amazing. I love every song on it. Fyi, my favorite on it are 'I Forgive You', 'Hello', 'Einstein', and 'Let Me Down'. Yes yes. Buy it.

I suppose that's it for now!

Peace!

Seriously?! Ouch!

Click on the headline below. This is so stupid I just had to share. lol

Enjoy?

"A Wedding? I love weddings! Drinks all around!"

10 points to the first one who can name the movie. If you don't know what movie then I like you a little less than I use to. Just kidding.

One week ago today was my brother, Jimmie's, wedding here in Salt Lake. As some of you might know, this was my brother's second marriage due to some gayness before. But as the saying goes, "first the worst, second the best." (Of course not in all cases, but for sure in his case.) He DEFINITELY married up this time. And for those of you who know who he was married to before, I'm sorry. Not sorry about what I said, but sorry that you know her. Burn, I know. I'll stop (speaking the truth) being mean now.

Anyways... The wedding was amazingly perfect and beautiful. We had my whoooole family staying at our house. Yes, all 5 of my siblings & spouses, their kids, my parents, and my gramma. So including Alex and me there were 11 adults and 7 kids (all under the age of 8), and one dog. Let just say we had a lot of air-mattresses and blankets. lol. But it was awesome. It snowed the night before the wedding and the kids loved it. They were so excited. Even Jimmie, at like 10pm, decided it would be fun to go run and slide on his stomach through the snow in the front yard. Luckily he didn't run into any dog poo. Actually, that might have been funny. Oh well.

I didn't take any pictures myself, so these ones that I stole from my aunt will have to do. Enjoy!

PS, the quality of these pictures are a bit iffy but they look somewhat better if you click on them to enlarge them. Ps again, I realized in these pictures I look super tired. It's probably because my niece slept between Alex and I the previous 2 nights and she kicks. A lot. I had about a 1 1/2ft of bed for myself. lol

The beautiful bride and groom. I love my new sister in law. =)

Walking to the reception.

Being their awesome selves?

This is just us siblings and parents with the bride and groom. Ps, we're not all huddling together because we're cold... the photographer told us to squish in and act like we like each other. lol

Now, us with our spouses and kids and gramma. =)

I don't like my face in this one but here's me and my sisters.

Last but not least, me and my eternal companion. My sister had to take this picture like 3 or 4 times because Alex kept closing his dang eyes. They are even still small in this one. He said the flash was bright. Wahh wahhh... lol =)

Ps, Jimmie and Jill left the reception in a carriage to take them to their hotel. Alex and I left OUR reception in our bridesmaid decorated jeep and went to sonic cuz we were starving. lol. Yes yes. We're all so cool.

Have an awesome rest of the weekend!! Ü

MIA

I know I've been MIA for awhile and so I just wanted to stop by and let ya know I didn't die. lol.

I've got my WHOOOOLE family in town for my brother's wedding which is tomorrow. 11 adults and 7 kids are all sleeping here. It's a little party to say the least. But I'm so super excited (have I said that before) and just having my family here is awesome.

We took family fall pictures with Alex's family on Sunday and carved pumpkins as well. Then we went to his dad's on Halloween night. I'll post those pictures when I have a little more time for now I just wanted to give you a little preview.

Peace!

This one is probably one of my favorites, if not my favorite.

Ps, It's snowing.
