My family has a private family website where we can post pictures, news, dates, recipes, etc. For those of you who know our story , you know it all started with a picture. To be more specific, this picture:

How funny is that?! It's crazy to think that almost exactly 2 years later, we'd be getting married. Ps, I have no idea why I first saw this picture in April but didn't comment on it till June. I'm thinking I may have had a bf in April, so I wasn't interested? Idk. That's not important though. =)

Sorry this blog has been allll about Alex and me. But that's pretty much all my life is right now. No job, no school, no kids. Just us. Ü

What makes me smile

I looked out the back door and see my Alex looking back at me with the biggest 5 year old looking grin you've ever seen. It's the "hehe.... look what I did" look. And then I realize he's doing this:

For those of you who haven't met Alex I can only say one thing, "I'm sorry." He's the funniest and happiest man you'll ever meet. The glass is ALWAYS half full for him. Always. Your life will be 13x better after meeting Alex. He's 23, yes, but I swear he'll always be 10 years old at heart. Which is a blessing and a curse ;).

Don't know what I'd do without him. He's just plain ol' amazing.

Meet Keeto

This is our temporary dog, Keeto. He's a some type of Malamute husky or wolf or something. Lol. Alex's cousin is gonna be in the hospital for awhile so we offered to take care of his doggy.

He's huge. Sometimes he jumps up on me to play but it scares me. Just because I don't know him very well so I just pray he's playing and not seriously about to tear my face off. Cuz I'm pretty sure he could if he wanted to. Lol. Sometimes he howls and it's so pretty to hear yet sad at the same time, cuz I know he's gotta be missing his owner. He's not use to being outside. It's breaks my little heart. So even though he sheds a ton, I still like to hug him and scratch/rub him and give him lots of loves and treats.

He's a stubborn little booger too. Alex and I try to take him for walks and let him run but he fights and fights when we get within 30 feet of his kennel. He's strong too! I have to wrap his leash around my hand a couple times and I still have to support it with my other hand as well. Today was the worst! I feel so bad for him though. You can tell he's just a lover. Although, I wouldn't wanna be on his bad side that's for sure. When the other dogs get near his kennel he starts doing this "I'm gonna eat my way through this wire just to kill you" bark/growl and let me tell you, it's scary. It freaks me out. BUT in the short while we've had him, I already love him. I'm such a sucker for dogs. Especially with the circumstances in which we have him. It kills me. It makes it so easy to love him.

I Garden

It's true.

Alex and I decided that since we actually have a backyard this year, we'll plant a garden! Brilliant, I know. We spent close to 8 hours yesterday weeding and planting. Holy Montana, it was hard work and we still have half the garden that needs to be weeded. Ugh! I was sooo tired afterwards that it actually hurt to text and my hand was shaking holding my cell up to my ear. Yeah, crazy stuff right there! Plus, I'm sooo smart that I decided to wear a tank top out there with no sunscreen so I could get a nice tan on my shoulders and arms! (I would have worn shorts too, but I'm hairy and I really didn't wanna shave. Alex loves me Ü. lol) It ended up being a nice sunburn instead. Who'da thunk it?! And the best part is that my hands and down to about 1 inch below my wrist are still white as can be. "Why?" you ask. Well, I didn't realized I would have a nice farmers tan from my gardening gloves. It's awesome? I guess I didn't think that one through. So Alex and I both have nice matching awkward tan lines on our arms. Gotta love it. I told Alex next time we go out there, I'm just gonna wear my bikini. Surprisingly enough, he sad "OK!" ;).

I would post pictures of our awesomeness, but I don't take pictures like I should. I use to take pictures of EVERYTHING but that was while Alex was on his mission and I knew every picture I took was basically to send to him. But now he's with me during all my awesome picture taking experience so I just don't do it. Dumb, I know. Maybe when the plants start growing, I'll take pictures of those (IF they start growing. lol).

ANYWAYS... We planted okra (for me), squash, watermelon, baby watermelon, tomatoes, grape tomatoes, jalapeños, habaneros, anaheim peppers, bell peppers, and cilantro. So basically everything you need for homemade salsa and then some Ü. I also decided on a whim that I wanted to plant flowers in our flower bed out front. I thought I would get that done yesterday as well, but after my crazy sunburn I just couldn't get myself to go do it. Maybe after laundry today I'll go do it. =)

Special Us Ü

As you might know, I was in AZ last week for my nephew's baptism. I flew in Friday morning and left Tuesday night. I'm post more on all of that later, but for now I wanted to do a quick post from Monday night while I was there. I got to see a lot of my close friends. Side note: Darlene came to see me on Sunday night but due to me holding a sleeping 2 1/2 month old, we couldn't get a picture.)

So here's Stacey, Serena, Me, Brianna, Wendi, and Michelle. We. Are. Special. I LOVE my friends. =) I've been friends with Serena and Brianna since like 1st grade. Soooo many memories with them. Same with my friend, Alicia, but she's in Canada on a mission right now... more on that later.

Ps, I'm waaaay too lazy and tired right now to edit these pictures. So, sorry about the red eye and junk. I really should be cleaning my house right now so I'm in a hurry. Whoops.

Us trying to be normal. We can fake it pretty well ;). Ps, Isn't Serena so stinking cute prego?! Ugh!! Soooo jealous!

Ok, so, my very very bestest friends are these girls, including Alicia. Aka: SAMM. So here we are in SAMM order pretending Alicia is there. Lol. I told you we're special. Stacey and I are pointing to her, while Michelle on the other hand is poking her booty. Yes yes. THAT'S how we roll. Ü

Ahahahhaha! Every time I see this picture it makes me LOL! Idk what we're doing. It really needs no explanation... It's just us. Ü

So we took a couple jumping photos and THIS was the best one. Nice eh? Shows how much we don't understand the "1...2...3... JUMP" concept. OR maybe it was my mom's lack of knowing when to push the button. Yeah, lets go with that. ;)

Ok, once again, these need no explanation. We are just cool. Like, SUPER cool. =)

And to end... I can honestly say this picture turn out pretty cute! I'm sooo glad our faces didn't permanently stay the way they were in the previous pics. lol
