I love Summer.  I do.  It's my favorite.  But can I just tell you that I'm so excited for Fall to come?  Having 4 seasons is one thing I absolutely love about Utah that Arizona just doesn't have.  It's kind of awesome.  Anywho... here are some reasons I'm excited for Fall to come: (in no particular order)

1.  Homemade cheesy potato soup in a bread bowl.  I can honestly say that Alex is the cook in our family.  He loves trying new recipes and also perfecting the ones he already knows.  He's kind of cool like that.  He makes some yummy cheesy potato soup fo sure.

2.  Halloween.  I LOVE Halloween.  Seriously, how cool is it to get dressed up and knock on people's doors and get free candy?! It's brilliant.  Even when I got older and stopped trick-or-treating (like last year), it's still one of my favorite holidays.  Carving pumpkins is seriously one of the highlights of my year. I love pulling the guts out and baking the seeds.  Mmmm Mmmmm!  I just love the atmosphere and the food and the candy and the scariness of it all.

3.  Taco Soup.  Man... I must be craving soup or something.  This one Alex and I can both make.  You just throw everything in the crockpot and let it cook.  Then sprinkle some cilantro and cheese on top and holy goodness.  One of our favorite meals.

4.  Cooler Weather.  Like I said... I love summer.  But I'm not a huge Winter fan.  So Fall is perfecto.  Just chilly enough to put on a light sweater and cuddle. Gooood times.

5. But what I'm the most excited about is seeing my sister and her family in October! They are coming to visit cuz they are so so cool!!  (Is that better, Keta?)




PS, Random side note... I love this little girl of mine.  She took a nap with me on my birthday.  She's my favorite.  =)

Good and Bad News

I'll give you the bad news first... Thor died.  Idk how it happened.  One day he was fine and the next, he's on his back.  I was in denial for about 4 days.  Then once I looked in the tank and saw he was crusty... I accepted the truth.  Anyways, I was sad.   He was my boy  =(.  And hilarious! He had the most personality I've ever seen a snail have.  Seriously, ask anyone.  It's true.

Any who... just thought I'd post my favorite Thor moment.  Don't judge me.

Ok, and I lied. I really don't have good news.  Except for the fact it's Friday.  Yay?  Oh and watch this video.  My gramma emailed it to me and it made me laugh.  Happy Friday!

Once Upon a Time...

...Alex's cousins came to visit from Texas... and we jumped.

Isn't this is the creepiest picture ever?!  I'm gonna go with yes.  I wasn't there when it was taken, but apparently they couldn't get Alex's sister, Kyrie, to take a pregnant belly picture so... cue Alex.  He almost grosses me out in this photo.  lol.  Gotta love him!
