Just Stuff...

I'll be 28 weeks pregnant tomorrow and my dr's appointment will now be every 3 weeks instead of every 4 weeks.  We're getting closer and closer to having little Jack-Jack around.  It's crazy how fast this pregnancy has gone!

Here's me at 27 weeks.  As of last week, this little boy is 2lbs 15oz and perfectly healthy.  We couldn't be happier.  Besides the little pregnancy 'perks' here and there, I've had the easiest pregnancy ever.  I can't complain.  =)

Here's my little girl, Pebbles.  She's the cutest most human-like dog alive.  It's ridic.  This was taken this morning after I let her out of her kennel... I guess she decided she wasn't ready to get up just yet.  Love her!

Alex and I bought a new car this past weekend.  It's Alex baby and he named her Natasha (The Avengers anyone?)  It's a 2012 Mazda3 and we love it.  It's so nice to actually have 2 cars after only having 1 car since we've been married.  I told Alex that since I'll be the only one driving the Jeep now, I want to get personalized license plates that say, "MRSTHOR".  I'm thinking it's the best idea I've ever had!

That's all for now!

26 Weeks

26 Weeks! My last week of the 2nd trimester!  And to be honest... it kind of scares me? lol.  I'm just THAT much closer to having this little boy and being the one he depends on for everything.  Kind of freaks me out a little bit.

Heartburn has been better.  Doesn't come nearly as often or as bad any more.  No more headaches.  Still tired as always.  Still just want to lay in bed and sleep all day.  Been craving Arby's and Taco Bell lately. I swear in the last 3 days, Jack has like doubled in size.  I feel so big now.  I can't paint my toe nails anymore and getting out of bed or bending down is kind of a hassle. I still hate wearing clothes, and wear as little as I can around the house (Sorry, TMI).  Alex and I love feeling him kick and sometimes watching him as well.  It's crazy to watch my tummy bounce around when he feels like having a random dance party.  Also, sometimes when I'm busting out to music in the car, I apologize to Jack cuz I know he can hear me and it must be awful.  Lol.

As of January 1st, I'm doing no soda for a year. I've done it before, so I know it wont be too much of a challenge.  I miss root beer and cream soda, but I don't miss the bloated feeling that comes with it.  Just empty calories that I could use somewhere yummier!  =)

Here's me and baby Jack-Jack!

PS, random note-  This is my favorite song as of late.  I love Blake Shelton.  I just do.

24 Week Update

Sorry I've missed a couple weeks?

This little boy moves so much!  It's almost creepy at times.  Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love feeling him kick and move, but sometimes it's just so crazy that after he does 16 backflips that I can't help but go, "Woah... weird..." lol.  I know I'll miss it when I can't feel him inside me anymore so I'm definitely enjoy it while he still  is.

Symptoms-  My heartburn was so ridiculously bad a couple weeks ago.  Like seriously it made me want to throw up at one point. I thought I was going to die.  But the last week (knock on wood) it hasn't been too bad.  Still daily, but very mild compared to what it had been.  Also, I'm sooo super tired.  I don't sleep well anymore due to the fact that at my last appointment the dr said Jack's heart rate was a little slow, but it was probably due to me laying on my back for the ultrasound- apparently our little boy didn't like that.  So I'm pretty much freaked out now about how I sleep and obviously only sleep on my sides. I know you aren't supposed to sleep on your back while pregnant anyways, but if I did it during the night I just stayed there as it was sooo comfortable. But now I try to only sleep on my side and Alex is good at waking me up during the night when I accidentally roll onto my back and tells me to turn.  But anyways, it now takes me 45 minutes to fall asleep and then I toss and turn all night because I hate sleeping on my side.  I just wanna lay on my tummy! lol.  Headaches are pretty much gone (knock on wood again) and are only very mild when I occasionally get them. Then, I guess along with being tired comes being lazy.  I'm just sooo tired of getting dressed in the mornings. If I could just sit in bed allll day and do nothing, I would! I'm in sweats and t-shirts as much as possible (Alex loves it, I'm sure.).  Clothes are my worst enemy.  And I hate peeing in public because I usually have to wear 14 layers and it's just so hard to tuck everything back in, smooth everything out, pull everything down, and so forth.  Peeing and getting dressed are daily work outs.  It's ridic.  And doing my hair and make up everyday now is over-rated... Alex must love how sexy I am these days.

Cravings-  This past week it's been limes.  I just want them.  I told Alex the other day while at the mall "I just wanna munch on some crushed ice and bite into a juicy lime!"  Weird?  Idk.  But it sounded so delicious... and still does right now.

Last appointment-  Dr said everything looked good!  Jack was weighing in at just over a pound which is exactly where he's supposed to be.  I've gained 21 lbs so far, and it's kind of killing me cuz I've never weighed this much in my life, but I'm trying to tell myself to shut up and just take care of the baby.  I think one of my post pregnancy fears is not being able to lose the weight. Call me shallow, but I'm just being honest.  Also at my last appointment, the nurse gave me that orange drink stuff for my glucose test on my next visit.  I'm not excited to drink that, although I've heard it just taste like flat orange soda. So we'll see!

Hope you all had a great Christmas.  Alex and I were definitely spoiled more than we should have been.  I know we weren't THAT good this year.  ;)

Funny Commercial

This could be super funny to us just because Alex is a Panthers fan, but we laugh at this every time it comes on. I absolutely love this kid!

 Enjoy!

21 Week Update

21 Weeks now!

I officially can't fit into half of my normal clothes which is sometimes quite depressing.  I had a cute outfit all planned out for today only to find out when I went to put it on this morning that it was nowhere close to fitting.  Then I quickly resorted to another outfit only to be disappointed even more.  That then led me to texting my lead at work and telling her I was going to be late because I was having a wardrobe malfunction. Good times.  Also, something else new today, I've officially peed myself from sneezing.  It was kinda funny and sad at the same time.

This boy moves so much!  Not as much during the day, but right around 6pm until I go to bed he's wiiiide awake.  Last night I laid in bed with my shirt pulled up and watch my tummy move.  He was practicing karate or something.  It was amazing to watch.

Symptoms as of late have mostly been headaches and heartburn.  I get a headache about every other day and the only thing I can take is Tylenol.  I might as well be swallowing Smarties. The heartburn usually doesn't start until about 1 PM and then is off and on the rest of the day.  It's the worst heartburn I've ever had in my life.  I've noticed that pizza brings it on big time- which is sad to me.  I love pizza...

Guess that's all for now!

19 Week Update

19 Weeks! Lets see... Felt the baby kick for the first time on November 10th at 17.5 weeks. I've felt him just about everyday since then.  It's awesome.  Yesterday I had my targeted ultrasound where we found out that he is a boy for sure.  For sure for sure. Lol.  As the tech was doing the ultrasound I was thinking to myself, 'Wow... is it kind of early to say he looks like Alex? I swear he has his nose...'  After the ultrasound the lady said,  "I think it's safe to say he looks like his dad.  He has the same square jaw line." I know Alex loved that. Since the day we got married I told myself if we had a boy, I wanted him to look just like Alex. Looks like I just may get that =).  But anyways, Jack is 100% healthy...  10 fingers, 10 toes, 2 stocky little legs (also like his daddy), brain is perfect (like his mommy... hehe), and 2 kidneys.  I absolutely love this little boy sooo much it's ridiculous.  April can not come quick enough!

As far as cravings go... the last couple weeks it's been orange soda, cheese itz, Mexican food, and black olives.  Sooo yummy.  I can honestly say, sadly enough, I'm over my mac n cheese craving.  It doesn't even sound good anymore.  At all.

I've gotten a headache almost everyday for the last couple weeks, which the dr told me is normal.  I get heartburn everyday still, which milk or Tums usually helps with. I have these phases where I sleep really well for a couple days in a row and then really crappy for a couple days.  It's fantastic?  I think I'm finally starting to look out of the awkward, "Is she fat or pregnant?" stage.  I guess it really depends on what I'm wearing but for the most part people have been telling me "You definitely look pregnant" which is of course makes me happy.

All in all, I've had a pretty super easy pregnancy. I've been blessed for sure.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
