Yay for Christmas!!! I'm so super excited for Christmas you don't even understand. I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!!
Anyways... Since Alex and I lived with his mom and step dad last year, we didn't really have a tree of our own. BUT we did manage to go to Things Remembered and buy our "First Christmas" ornament. So we got our Christmas tree from Target for 50% off for $25. It's 6' and pre lit. I was sooo excited to buy it!! I got it all set up at home and then realized we didn't have a star to put on top. Oh well? It'll have to do until one of us gets paid. Idk... maybe we'll be creative and find something in the house to stick up there. lol. Hey... don't judge.. we're poor. =)

P.s. I'm also soooo excited to start listening to Christmas music. I learned from my sister, Maranda, that you can't listen to ANYTHING besides Christmas music during December. No exceptions. You only get one month to listen to it, so take advantage of it and leave your regular music for January through November! (Unless you're my mother in law, who starts listening to it in October. Ü) My absolute favorite Christmas CD is:

With this one as a close 2nd. Ü

Oh Christmas... Ü

Thanks for taking my advice!! We were in Curtis' truck last nite going shopping and he had country on, and it seriously was making me mad. I wanted to throw up!! He doesn't have any christmas cd's in his truck and 99.9 has lots of static, soooooo. That was the longest ride to walmart ever!!!
We don't have a star either, it broke. Last year we had the red neckest tree ever. Curtis put a cowboy hat as the star! I HAVE to buy one this year!!
For our first Christmas together, we got a tree from craigslist and had no star either. I just tied a big bow on the top. Then I went after Christmas and bought a simple start for next year.
It's all good--we're poor too!
