Update?

Not much new to post. This post will probably be a bunch of thought that have just been floating in my head.

Alex and I got rid of our facebook (if you didn't know we had a joint account) for some personal reasons. It's weird. It's weird not having it on my ipod to check 24/7. Every once in awhile I'll think, "How am I gonna check this??" or "How am I gonna know if so-and-so's doing this or that?" "How am I gonna see about new engagements or pregnancies or anything?!" But seriously, I think about it for 2.3 seconds and I'm over it. We lived just fine before facebook, and we'll be ok now. It's just so time consuming and addicting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some rude person who doesn't give a crap about anyone. That's not what I'm saying. But I just figured, my close friends and family are the ones who I communicate with outside of fb anyways. There's so many things that I could be doing instead of spending time on fb. I'm slacking in so many other places it's not even funny. Anyways, enough of that. We all have our opinions and that's just mine. Ps, I'm also not saying that if you have fb, you're a horrible person and it's stupid. Promise. That would be ridiculous of me. We're doing it to get some priorities straighten out. And I guess just to see if we can ;).

Speaking of doing things just to see if I can... NO SODA. (I've decided on at least 6 months. Did I tell you that part?) Anyways, as of August 1st, I'm still going strong. And let me tell you, I feel awesome. I've never drank so much milk and water in my life.

Also, my brother is getting married in exactly 2 weeks. I'm stoked. My family is staying with us at our house. It's gonna be awesome. Woohooo for having a new sister in law!

I guess that's it for now.

Ps, I'm making a roast in the crock pot right now. It's from a recipe called "To DIE For Pot Roast". I hope it turns out awesome. It's my very first one. I know, we're been married for over 2 years and I'm just now making my first roast. Yes, I'm a slacker. Sorry? Also, it says in the recipe, "yummy served over rice". That was probably the seller for me. Marrying into a Japanese family I've learned to love rice for every meal. lol. I've gotta put that 20lbs bag of rice in our pantry to use! So I feel very Asian when I use it in my recipes. Just sayin'.

Love my life. Ü

FB is boring w/o you GOSH! Just kidding, it's better. hahahhahaha!! So what exactly were your "personal reasons"? It may seem like I'm on it a lot, but I'm really not. I get on it when Porter is sleeping or when my chores are done, but I am really not obsessed with it like some people. I just think it's a neat place. Once u have kids, spending time with your husband is history, so I might as well be on FB!! Again, J/k!!!!! Can't wait to see you guys in less then 2 weeks!

I've been debating getting rid of my FB too...I waste too much time on it! I feel like I could get along just fine without knowing what so and so it doing just that minute, lol, but then I have some family members that I only have contact through on there (as sad as that is). So, I guess I'm stuck with it for a little bit longer...
