Pros & Cons of this Weekend...

Cons:

Bad hair day Sunday. I was sooooo fed up with my hair this morning. It actually got to the point where I yelled to Alex down the stairs, "Alex! I'm not going to church today! I'm not kidding." To which his response was coming upstairs and trying to cheer me up with some inappropriate comments that I can't repeat on here due to the fact that our mothers read this. Which at the time wasn't funny AT ALL, but HILARIOUS now. Anyways, he ended up giving me some hair advise and went on his way. Pretty sad when you have to take hair advice from your husband.

Remembering that I'm out of body wash AFTER I've already gotten in the shower. Therefore resulting in smelling like a man for the rest of the day because I had to use Alex's Old Spice body wash.

Having a headache that doesn't go away after a nap. Usually, I can take some ibuprofen and it's gone. If that doesn't work then I nap. If that doesn't work... well then I just blog about it.

Having my hubby sick. He didn't get sick until Friday afternoon-ish. But when he did, he was all whiny and wanted to be taken care of, and I was a punk to him. But luckily, I caught myself and apologize with a "Sorry baby" and a back rub. ;)

Pros:

Having the cashier at the store see my ring while I was signing my receipt and say, "Oh my goodness, that's such a pretty diamond!" Why thank you ma'am! I think so too! I just have to add that after I told her thank you she looked outside and I guess noticed I was alone and said, "You be safe out there." It kinda made me day. I love sweet old ladies.

Having our primary kids remember a specific lesson we gave to them 2 years ago that I didn't even remember until one of our little girls recalled it out loud. Small as it might seem, it was super special for me. Sometimes I think we teach them and it goes in one ear and out the other. I was glad to know that sometimes it doesn't.

Watching 'Music and Lyrics' two days in a row. Good good times. It made me fall in love with Hugh Grant all over again. I kinda have a love/hate relationship with him. He's so conceited and cocky, but so charming he makes me wanna kiss him! Ps, Yes I know he's pretty much old enough to be my father. But anyone who has known me since I was 8, knows I have a thing for older men. Alan Jackson, Johnny Depp, David Bowie, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins... you get the picture. I very rarely like celebrities my own age. It kinda freaks my husband out. Ps again, I'm kinda embarrassed that I actually admitted to having a crush on David Bowie. Dang it, Labyrinth.

Having a little Christmas party with some girlies from work. And them complimenting me on my meatballs. I was pretty proud and glad they turned out since it was my first time making them. I've made some awesome friends at my work. I'm very blessed. =)

Calling my sister and parents yesterday. It was my sister's 30 birthday as well as my parents 36 wedding anniversary. That's a loooong time, eh? My mom was 16 and my dad was 17 when they got married. I mean, I was only 19, but that's not as bad as 16 right? lol. I remember the day I turned 16 thinking, "Dang, my mom got married at the age I'm at now?! Weird!" But hey, whatever works!

Have a good week, ya'll!

Oh my goodness! What a horrible Sunday you had! LOL

And you know you'll have to fight my little Rosy for "The Goblin King" Ü She loves David Bowie in Labyrinth too.

Hugh Grant is ok, but I do love Music and Lyrics.

I thought the same thing when I turned 16. Crazy!!! Except you were only 6 when I turned 16. Ü

Awh, I'm your sister and you called ME and Alex sounded horrible, poor guy!
You forgot to mention in your love of older men...Big Kenny, duh!
I flippen had to use Scott's manly body wash a couple weeks ago, because that's all that was in the shower. Probably mostly because only boys use that bathroom now, I'll just have to start bringing my own!
