Let me start off by telling you that EVERY time Alex and I go out somewhere, he sees or bumps into somebody he knows. Every time, I swear. It's somewhat annoying now.
Well Friday night it was FINALLY my turn. I ran into a guy from work, and it just about made my night. Because for once in my Utah living life, I bumped into somebody who I knew. Me. It wasn't one of Alex's high school buddies. Or somebody he grew up with. Or the mom of some hot girl he use to 'like'. Or anybody that I knew through anyone else but myself. It sounds silly, I know. But I mean, I've lived here for 2 1/2yrs now and it's about stinkin time, eh?! I felt so cool bumping into someone in public who knew me for me and not just for just 'The girl from Arizona who married Alex'. Don't get me wrong, that has it's perks too, but it was a nice change. =)
Anyways... that's all. Probably one of the highlights of my Utah living career. Maybe Utah doesn't hate me after all. =)

I remember the 1st time I saw somebody I knew right after I moved to Thatcher(at walmart of course) and I remember thinking, omg, I live in Thatcher...I live in a small town...I'm already seeing people I know. I was a little embarrassed! Now I swear I see my whole ward EVERY time I go walmart lol!
