Just Reasons...

I decided to list some (or 15) reasons I'm excited to be going down to Arizona in 15 days!!

1. I get to meet and hold my baby niece, Navy.

2. Waking up my parents on Christmas morning by jumping on their bed and chanting, "Santa came, Santa came!!"

3. Eating at Weldons in San Manuel, AZ.

4. I get to see a whoooooole bunch of people I super miss.... mom, dad, keta, kirk, jet, vance, rosy, randa, curtis, dylan, cash, jimmie, scott, gramma ann, stacey, michelle, etc. (Don't worry, there is a ton more but I didn't wanna keep boring ya'll.)

5. I get to play with MY doggy, Puddi!!!! And my 3 legged chihuahua, Pringles!!! Yay for snuggling my doggies!!

6. Seeing our family Christmas tree with all our family ornaments on it.

7. WARMER weather!

8. Drinking yummy Ginger Ale on the airplane.

9. I get to eat at Whataburger, Oreganos, Blue Adobe, Casa Reynoso, and Bahama Bucks . Mmmm...

10. Our family Christmas Eve Eve party.

11. Getting my nails done with my mom and sisters.

12. Watching "Ahhh... schuda bada laka schaka...." (I'm pretty sure only Maranda will know what I'm talking about.

13. Going to see the Christmas lights at the temple and listen to the choir at the Visitor Center.

There are tons more, but I don't wanna bore ya'll anymore. (Ps, those were not in any specific order. Except for reason #1.... that's pretty much my #1 reason.

Tis The Season

Second Christmas.... first tree.


Yay for Christmas!!! I'm so super excited for Christmas you don't even understand. I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!!

Anyways... Since Alex and I lived with his mom and step dad last year, we didn't really have a tree of our own. BUT we did manage to go to Things Remembered and buy our "First Christmas" ornament. So we got our Christmas tree from Target for 50% off for $25. It's 6' and pre lit. I was sooo excited to buy it!! I got it all set up at home and then realized we didn't have a star to put on top. Oh well? It'll have to do until one of us gets paid. Idk... maybe we'll be creative and find something in the house to stick up there. lol. Hey... don't judge.. we're poor. =)

P.s. I'm also soooo excited to start listening to Christmas music. I learned from my sister, Maranda, that you can't listen to ANYTHING besides Christmas music during December. No exceptions. You only get one month to listen to it, so take advantage of it and leave your regular music for January through November! (Unless you're my mother in law, who starts listening to it in October. Ü) My absolute favorite Christmas CD is:

Ps, I had my root canal yesterday and I never ever want to step foot in a dentist office again!! I was getting worked on for 3 1/2 and I was nauseous and my neck and head was killing me and it was burning hot and I was dying from holding still so long and yeah. I still have to go back in 2 weeks to get my crown. Ps, my face is still partly numb and I hate it. Good story eh?

I really have nothing new or exciting to post about so I thought I would just let you all know that I'm getting a root canal on Friday. And I'm scared? Please pray for me. Thanks.

The Grand Holiday of Halloween/ Awesome Michelle

This picture is proof that I can easily ruin a good picture without trying. This was a couple weeks ago, but it's still related to Halloween so I thought I would add it. Me, Kyrie (SIL), Kyle (BIL), and Jenn (MIL) went over to Jenn's mom's house and had a chili dinner and decorated sugar cookies with Jenn's sisters and their kids. All the kids had their Halloween costumes on. So cute.

THEN, Halloween came... along with Michelle!!

Yes, we went Trick or Treating as promised. We went around a couple neighborhoods with Kyle so he made us feel a little less dumb. lol. Little kids are the best! Ps, It was pouring and cold whilst trick or treating (I have no idea if that is suppose to be capitalized or not). It was difficult holding a pillowcase full of candy while holding an umbrella, but it's something I'll never forget. I have never in my 21 years of life gone trick or treating in the freezing rain. Well worth it though!

As you can tell, I was some kind of leopard and Michelle was a bunny. Thank you Wal-Mart for cheap easy costumes. They came with a mask, a tail, and yes, a chocker necklace. Awesome.

While Michelle was here, we did some awesome shopping. We left Alex at home so we could have some Malisa and Michelle time.

We're awesome? That's pretty much all I need to say.

We went to a frozen yogurt place called The Juicy Berry I think.

Michelle got pom blackberry frozen yogurt with yummy berries and white chocolate chips. I got banana bread frozen yogurt with walnuts and oats. Sooooo Yummy.

Yay us!

Those dang mannequins at Forever 21 are sooo ridiculous. I can't stand the way they are posed! It's so weird! lol. So we took advantage of it. =)
