My Man

I'm upstairs. We just moved into the house we'll be staying in for the next year. I'm paying countless bills online, figuring out how on earth we're gonna survive. Stress, stress, stress.

Hmmm.... Where's Alex...?

At the same instance I hear this movie playing downstairs....

Yes, Alex and I decided to get a Netflix account today. Within the first 20 minutes of getting it, The Princess and the Frog is the first movie he decides to watch.

We have no kids yet. Just Alex.

NOT

I hate moving. I've only moved 2 times in my life and they were both in the last year and a half. The first time it was basically just moving my bedroom from Mesa to Farr West (it still sucked tho). Then moving that same bedroom added with Alex's stuff to our apartment in Layton. NOW, we're moving our apartment back to Farr West. His mom and step dad are moving to New Mexico for a year for work so we are living in their house again to watch the animals and save some money. Kinda a sweet deal. But oh so much gay packing. It was a whole lot easier moving into the apartment cuz our wedding gifts were still in their packaging and we had like 2 pieces of furniture. Now all our wedding gifts are open and used and we have a fully furnished apartment. Idk how you people with houses and kids move. I don't even wanna think about that. It makes me somewhat sick. Anyways... so the reason for this boring post is just to let ya'll know why I have a boring life right now and moving/packing is the most exciting thing to post about right now. Oh, and I'm pregnant!! I'm due August 4th! Hahahahahaha TOTALLY JK!! I'd just thought I'd throw that in there to spice up the post for about 2.3 seconds. Sorry?

Honeymoon Love

So..... I know it's not our anniversary or anything, but I figured, wow we've been married for 1 year 6 months and 3 days?!?!?! Lets celebrate with some video love!! Random!

So this was at Sea World... oh how I miss that place! These are the Sea Lions. The noise they make CRACK ME UP!! It never gets old. They were by far my favorite animal at Sea World. I even got over my fear of touching fish and bought some little fishies to feed to the Sea Lions.... it was love. =)

This was our bike ride to Downtown San Diego that Alex BEGGED and BEGGED we went on. I thought it would be soooo embarrassing (and indeed... it was!!) But I finally gave in. I'm still trying to decide if I ended up enjoying it.

Jacked up!!! We were on the freeway driving home from San Diego and we had a little (or huge) blow out. And of course I was driving. BUT I handled it like a pro!

Then after hours of sitting at the mall waiting for our Jeep to get fixed AND after a couple hours of being back on the road driving home, we ran into a dust storm. And it was BAAAADD. You can't really tell from the video but it was scary. We could hardly see anything. Something or someone didn't want us to leave our honeymoon!!! lol.

Whelp, I guess thats it! Like I said, random post, I know, but you'll get over it. =)

Bowlin'

So New Years day, Alex and I were invited to go bowling with our friends, Hilary and Zack. We had an awesome fun time. And it worked out perfect because Alex was actually suppose to work till midnight that night, but he had just texted me and said he didn't have to stay the whole time and was leaving at about 8pm. Seriously, like 10 minutes later, Hilary texted me and asked if we wanted to go bowling. I was super excited. Yay!!

So anyways, I didn't get a lot of pictures or videos because I had my memory card still stuck into the computer and so aparently my camera doesn't have that much memory on it's own. So.... this is what I got before "Memory Full" popped up. Lovely.

A New Year

So I figured since it's a new year I would have some goals in mind to start it off right.

1. NOOOOOO soda!

Ok so, I realized that sounds impossible but I did it in high school for like 6 months. Thats a lot, right? I'm not obsessed with soda AT ALL but I guess just because of the holidays these last couple months, I've had soda like once a day, and THAT is too much for me. I feel sick just thinking about it. So basically my goal is no soda for a month at the least.... then, if I can go longer, WHOOOHOO!

2. Improve my Scripture study (personal and with Alex)

Alex and I use to be soooo good at scripture reading together. Every night, like clockwork, we would read. Then he got his CNA job and is working night and doesn't get home till close to 1am, so we tried to switch it to mornings... which I hate. I'm not a morning person at all so that super sucks for me. Even growing up, as a family, we read scriptures at night. SO... thats how I roll. Anyways, Alex and I need to come up with a plan to better ourselves that way.

3. Personal Prayers

Wow... making this list makes me feel like a horrible person. lol. Anways... Alex and I do great with night prayer together after he gets home from work. Morning prayer together... not so much. And personal prayers.... even less. Lets just leave it at that. Need to do better with prayers. Shhh... don't tell my dad.

4.BABY!!!

This goal isn't really one to improve myself in particular, but it's a goal!!! Alex and I are going to be moving into his mom and step dad's house while they live out of state for a year for his job. And all we'll have to pay is utilities. Pretty nice eh?! Since we'll be saving money and since I have a clean bill of health from my heart doctor, why not?! It's still not a sure thing of course, but yeah, it'll happen. If not this year, then maybe next year, or the year after that, or the year after that, etc. lol. So maybe we won't be having a baby this year, but maybe we'll be able to start trying some baby making by the end of the year? Who knows?! ;)

Ps, these goals are in no particular order... so don't be thinking that I think "no soda" comes before the spiritual stuff.... It's just the order it popped into my head.

AZ Christmas Trip

Home for Christmas!!!

First off, look at my cute baby niece, Navy Kate!! I finally got to meet her and she is super duper adorable, as expected. =)

We had another Lindbergh reunion. Our last one was in December of 2008. All of us girls have been friends since elementary. It was sooo good to see everyone. =)

Me and my besties, Michelle and Stacey. They came to Oreganos with the 10 of us... Jimmie & Shelby, Mom & Gramma Ann, Keta & Kirk, Me & Alex, and baby Navy of course. I didn't get pictures of all them cuz sometimes I'm stupid and don't remember to take pictures.

Me and my favorite 3 legged Chihuahua, Pringles. Alex hates her, but she is so sweet and I miss her. (Ps, Alex got me that new shirt I'm wearing for Christmas and he didn't want Pringles's long nails to snag it, so I had to hold her away from me. lol)

MY first doggy love, Puddi. She will always be my doggy even tho I can't have her here in Utah. I miss her a ton. She is such a cuddly love bug. She use to sleep with me EVERY night while I lived at home... on Christmas Eve, Alex let her sleep with us. =)

Well I suppose thats all the pictures I have for now. Going home for Christmas was awesome!! I'm soooo glad we were able to. =)

PS, Although it was kinda nice to go outside with flip flops on and not have to see your breath and put a coat on, it was so WARM!!! Which is weird since I lived there the first 20 years of my life, but I was kinda happy to come back to Utah to the cold. Is that crazy?! I just think that Winter should be COLD. I'm still not a fan of the snow tho, but cold... I could get use to this.... =).
