Have I ever told you...

...about the engagement story of my brother and his fiance? I thought it was pretty dang cute so I figured I'd let ya read it on her blog.

We are so super excited to have her be a part of our family. Jill is amazing and so much fun. She's perfect for Jimmie. It'll be nice to finally put the past completely behind us and see these two be sealed in the Salt Lake temple FOREVER. Life is great. =)

Debating

I'm debating whether or not to make my blog private. I've been weighing out the pros and cons of it. Recently I've been scared (out of my mind) about identity theft and scary stalkers and things like that (Yes, I've been watching too much 48 Hours recently). People can learn and gather soooo much about you just from what you post online.

Plus, I'm a just a paranoid freak. Those of you who really know me, know that I beep my car at least 2 or 3 times before believing it's actually locked (In high school I use to lock the car THEN go around and still check every door. Sorry for driving you nuts, Stacey!) I check all my house doors at least 3 times at night (Before I was married, I use to stay up till my brothers got home, even after my parents went to sleep, so I could lock the doors behind them. My 1 brother had an issue with forgetting to lock the door after he got home and it freaked me out!). I often put one leg through the straps of my purse while we're sitting at the movie theater cuz it's a dark room and I think the people behind me can reach through and grab my purse without me noticing. Now that you all think I'm super crazy, I'll stop listing examples, I think you get the point. Ps, I'm A LOT better than I use to be. I think Alex helped calm me down or something. Lol

The reason I don't want to make it private is basically just cuz I think it's an inconvenience. Plus I hate when I find someone I knew from high school and their blog is private. I'm too much of a chicken to ask for an invite. Most likely because we weren't the best of friends, and I don't want them to think, 'Why the heck does this chick want to read my blog?' Ps, sorry if you're one of those people who thought that about me. But I live in Utah and I get super bored. Anyways...

Did any of that make sense? I kinda feel like I was all over the place.

So here's my question to my 5 readers out there... What were your reasons for making your blog private or keeping it public? What do you think?

Videos for you!

So I was looking through my old pictures from back in 08 and 09 and I found some silly videos that brought back some super fun memories. Enjoy the randomness!

This was in January 09. Michelle, Stacey, Alicia, me, and Michelle's little sister, Alicia, were driving to Cali for Michelle's birthday to go snowboarding and skiing. I miss my girls.

This was Easter of 09. Alex and I were still dating and so in love... awww! Ps, Keta, Jimmie is asking me to say "Tablo Bow!" which is how Vance use to say "Taco Bell". Do you remember that? Good times.

This was December 08. My mom, dad, brother, Scott, and me went to Nashville right after Christmas. Keith Urban was performing at the Grand Ole Opry and we had no idea till about 1 week before we left. We buy the tickets months in advance and they don't have to performers lined up till a week or two beforehand. We were just lucky that they chose Keith to perform this night. Ps, We were sitting front row for this, I was standing right next to the stage. During a quiet part between songs I yelled, "I love you!" And guess what... he giggled and said, "I love you too!" in his adorable Australian accent. That's right everybody, I can say the Keith Urban has told me he loves me. Yes yes. Don't hate. Ps again, It's only 8 seconds long cuz I was scared that the old security lady was gonna tell me, "Turn off your video camera!" again, and I didn't wanna get kicked out of the awesomeness of this.

This one makes me giggle. It was sometime in 08 I'm guessing. Probably after September. I was baby sitting my niece and nephews and decided to take a video with my princess of a niece, Rosy. I miss her guts. Ps, I'm not mean to Jet. But he was turning the camera and I get motion sick REALLY easy and I didn't wanna get sick while watching it. That's why I NEEDED him to stop turning the camera. lol

This was the night before I met Alex and his family which means it was around January 23, 09. Stacey and I were getting bored of waiting for them to arrive so we got hyper and went to Jack in the Box. I could see Stace in the reflection of the front door and it looked like she was standing outside. It freaked me out at first, but then it was hilarious. Soo.... we got a video of it to savory the funniness.

Highlight of my day...

One of our conversations while driving home from work today...

Alex *out of nowhere*- "Look at that old man driving behind us."

*I turn around expecting something crazy*

Me *confused*- "Yeah...? What about him?"

Alex *almost like he was confused/concerned I didn't notice it on my own*- "Idk.... he's old."

This is my life. Daily. I kinda love it. Kinda a lot.

As of late...

Obsessing over:

This kid. Seriously, I want him. Ok, well technically I guess I DID get him, cuz I'm married to him, but you know what I mean. I use to tell people that I'd cry if I found out I was having a boy first (don't judge me.alex wants a girl first too) but after looking through a TON of old pics of Alex, I wouldn't mind having a little Alex first. I mean come on... how cute is this pic?! Ps, NO I'm NOT pregnant.

Tootsie Fruit Rolls. Goodness. The vanilla is my fav. I would probably even say that I like the vanilla ones better than the original Tootsie Roll flavor. Sadly I opened up the bag and there was only 3 Vanilla. 3! Ridic! But luckily I love them all so it's all good, and I'm over it. Btw, I'm pretty sure I have like 6 new cavities because of this dang bag. I just can't stop myself.

MiO Liquid Water Enhancer. Divine. I think the mango peach is my favorite. But seriously, have you tried these before? You just squirt however much you want into a glass of water and it makes it oh so magically yummy. I squirt a tiny bit to add just a hint of flavor. Alex, on the other hand, squirts way more than I do. But it's awesome. A little pricey if I do recall correctly, but so fun to squirt and watch it mix with the water! ( Yes, I did use the word 'squirt' 4 times cuz it's a funny word and it makes me smile. No, I'm not 6 years old.)

Last, but not least, Yogurt Burst Cheerios. I've only tried the strawberry kind, but I do believe there is a vanilla one as well. I don't know exactly how healthy it is (I don't read that stuff. lol) but it's Cheerios so it's gotta be healthy right?! Anyways, it's delicious. It's not too sweet but it's not plain ol blah either. It's just plain ol perfect. =)

Remember that one time me and my parents ran into Scotty McCreery from American Idol at the mall in SLC??

Good times.

The first thing that came out of my dumbfounded mouth was, "You're so awesome!", while pointing at his face. Great. He probably wanted to say, 'Please get this psycho away from me stat'. Wouldn't be the first I've heard that tho. lol
