I'm Not a Loser?!

Ok, so this is just a dumb small random post, but I have to tell you what happened on Friday night.

Let me start off by telling you that EVERY time Alex and I go out somewhere, he sees or bumps into somebody he knows. Every time, I swear. It's somewhat annoying now.

Well Friday night it was FINALLY my turn. I ran into a guy from work, and it just about made my night. Because for once in my Utah living life, I bumped into somebody who I knew. Me. It wasn't one of Alex's high school buddies. Or somebody he grew up with. Or the mom of some hot girl he use to 'like'. Or anybody that I knew through anyone else but myself. It sounds silly, I know. But I mean, I've lived here for 2 1/2yrs now and it's about stinkin time, eh?! I felt so cool bumping into someone in public who knew me for me and not just for just 'The girl from Arizona who married Alex'. Don't get me wrong, that has it's perks too, but it was a nice change. =)

Anyways... that's all. Probably one of the highlights of my Utah living career. Maybe Utah doesn't hate me after all. =)

I Just Had To...

I may or may not have bought this shirt today at Victoria's Secret. Mostly I did... and I'm not even sorry. I didn't have such a hot day today and so I decided during my lunch break that I would buy myself something to make me feel better. And guess what... it did.

BTW, might I add that it was on sale from $29.50 down to $12.50. Yes please, I'll take one. =)

PS, hallelujah for the weekend!! Yeah, it's been one of those weeks.

We Bought a Zoo

Alex and I went to see this movie about 2 weekends ago, expecting it just to be an 'ok' movie that we were just going to see cuz we were bored and had a giftcard. Holy cow, were we wrong! This was such a GREAT movie! We both loved it and were both on the verge of tears at least 3 times during it. (He'd kill me if he knew I wrote that. Good thing he doesn't read my blog! ;) ). Plus, Matt Damon is a BABE and Scarlett Johansson is just HOT. AND the little girl who plays Rosie, is the cutest girl I've ever seen in my life. Every time she came on screen I would think, "Oh my goodness, I want her!!" Creepy, I know. Check out her IMDb page HERE. She's just a doll.

Anyways, it's a super good movie and if you haven't seen it, you definitely need to. And if you have seen it, but didn't like it.... what the heck is wrong with you?! JK of course.

Randomness

I've wanted to blog about a million times in the past week, but we haven't had internet for about 5 days. And I've lost everything that I wanted to blog about. lol. Anyways...

As many of you know, Alex is the biggest movie buff alive. He LOVES everything about movies. Especially going out to the theater. His fav! Plus you add in the fact that he's still the biggest kid ever and you get this:

Yes, Alex and I went to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D in theaters this past weekend. It was so fun and well worth it. Plus, going to see any movie with Alex is just exciting anyways. You know that scene towards the end when Belle is in her beautiful yellow dress and they are dancing in the gorgeous ballroom in the castle?? Well, when it showed Belle for the first time in her dress and the music started playing, Alex SQUEEZED my hand in excitement. It just about melted my heart. Seriously, I love that guy. He made me feel like I was 5 years old and made the movie soooo magical (as dumb and childish as that sounds). After he squeezed my hand I felt so giddy. Love him =). Btw, yes, we were the only adults in the theater not accompanied by children. lol

After that, Alex went home and I got my 'Malisa' time. I went to the mall and got a mani and a full set. It was so nice. I felt like a princess afterwards. I told Alex that someday when we're rich and have a huge house, I'm gonna have a room with shelves and shelves of nail polish along with my very own Asian lady to be at my beckon call. Creepy? Don't care. I wish I could get a mani weekly, if not more. Love it =). Pedi's I'm not too fond of cuz I'm too ticklish. lol

Oh wait, PS, why do I keep getting junk emails with the subject of 'Asian Singles'. Is it cuz my last name?? Racists!! lol
